Beato Bartolomeo, Vespaiolo Extra Dry NV

Beato Bartolomeo is a co-operative winery based in the Veneto region of northeast Italy. They were founded in 1950 with 122 members, and now have over 750 committed winegrowers producing some of the regions most authentic wines, specialising in the indigenous grape varieties the region does best. Vespaiolo Extra Dry NV is a great Italian sparkling wine for those looking to explore beyond Prosecco. Made with 100% Vespaiolo, a naturally rich & vibrant grape, it busts with notes of lemon, peach, nectarine and honey. The palate is lively, with the sugars in the wine balanced by a good level of acidity and nice finish. A great wine to enjoy as an aperitif.
